THE COMPANY.

 

ERTEL Abwassertechnik Industrie e.K. was founded in 2004. The contribution of the owner of the same name to active environmental protection consists in the chemical-physical treatment and clarification of industrial waste-water for save disposal and reuse.

 

OUR LIQUID SPECIALTY PRODUCTS FOR CHEMICAL-PHYSICAL TREATMENT PLANTS (CP PLANTS) OF SMALL- AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES.

 

Industrial wastewater treatment describes the processes used for treating wastewater that is produced by industy and manufacturing as an undesirable by-product. After treatment and detoxification, the treated wastewater (or effluent) may be reused or released to a sanitary sewer or to a surface water in the environment.

 

Before industrial wastewater in Germany is discharged into the sewer system and then into a municipal wastewater system, our customers, such as manufacturers of CP plants or comparable systems and end users, use our specialty products in their pre-treatment systems to remove hazardous pollutants such as oils, greases, dyes, phosphates, suspended solids, heavy metals and hydrocarbons. The partially treated wastewater then successfully meets the prescribed limit values for hazardous pollutants of the respective local authorities for discharge.

 

A typical CP plant, which is tailored to our special products, essentially consists of the main components, such as a big collection tanc for the untreated wastewater, a reactor with stirrer and pH control, equipment for separating the floated oil or the sedimented thin sludge, for example a dissolved air flotation system and a device for compacting the separated thin sludge, for example a filter press, as well as an additional four dosing units, one each for neutralization for acid and alkali and one to two for our special products.

 

We use raw materials from the best companies in Germany and EU for our special products.These are manufactured according to ERTEL recepes in an external contract manufacturing facility that is monitored by ERTEL. Our customers at home and abroad receive our special products directly from there in PE canisters for industrial tests, 200-litre PE drums, 600 and 1,000-litre IBC containers.

 

OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE SELECTION OF OUR SPECIALTY PRODUCTS.

The latter are characterized by reasonable prices, very short 1-step operations, energy-saving and thus cost-effective treatment processes and are ideally suited for natural and artificial flotation and sedimentation as well.

For example, if a customer is dissatisfied with

-  high costs in the use of the chemical reagents, or

-  high quatities of sludge during ists disposal, or

-  the rests of pollutants in its wastewater coninuously fail to meet the requirements of the authorities, or

-  the composition of his watewater has chanched,

we do not simply replace his chemicals immediately, but first test his wastwater several times in our laboratory.  

For tests in his own laboratory, the customer is also welcome to receive laboratory samples. Once he or she is convinced and satisfied with one or the other suitable product proposal, only then do test runs for the scale-up and reexamination take place in his system.

 

NOTE: If a wastewater cannot be successfully treated with one of our listed special products, we create a suitable, completely new special product for our customer.
